Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Quantitative test is performed on a sample of blood to measure the level of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen – Unvaccinated and Hepatitis B Surface Antigen – Vaccinated in the blood.
It is performed to confirm Hepatitis B and also during the treatment and after the treatment of Hepatitis B and also to determine adequate immunity from hepatitis B vaccination. The ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is a well-established antibody-based tool for detecting and quantifying antigens of interest.
